October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the National Supreme Council invites every Brother and Sister to join our National Pink Out.
When we wear pink, we do more than add a color to our clothing. We show support for those facing breast cancer today. We celebrate survivors and the strength it has taken to reach each new day. We honor the memory of loved ones whose lives continue to inspire us. And we stand beside the families, friends, and caregivers who walk this journey with them.
Breast cancer touches lives throughout our communities, including our Masonic family. Some people share their stories openly; others carry their worries quietly. Our Pink Out is an opportunity to make room for both. A phone call, a ride, a meal, a listening ear, or a few sincere words can remind someone that they are seen and supported.
Awareness also grows through conversation. Take time this month to learn about breast health, speak with a healthcare professional about any concerns, and encourage loved ones to discuss screening with their own providers. We can care for one another by sharing reliable information and making it easier to talk about a subject that can feel frightening.

This year, members have a new way to take part from wherever they are. Wear pink with your chapter, your family, your friends, or on your own. Take a photo and upload it to our live Pink Out gallery, which will be featured on the NSC website. As photos are shared, we’ll be able to see Brothers and Sisters across the jurisdiction standing together in support and remembrance.
